Description: Type 7P.42 surge arrester, SPD Type 2 for single-phase TT and TN-S systems with Neutral. Varistor protection + GDT between L-N, and GDT between N-PE. Replaceable modules. Signaling with remote contact of the varistor status.
Features include:
Suitable for AC systems/applications for protection against induced and switching overvoltages
To be installed on the border between zones LPZ 1 and LPZ 2
Combination of high-performance varistors and gas spark gaps (GDT) which ensure: – high discharge currents – high insulation resistance which eliminates the leakage current – absence of subsequent follow-on current
Extremely low residual voltage
Visual indicator of the varistor status – functional/to be replaced
Signaling with remote contact of the varistor status. Connector (07P.01) included in the package
