Description: SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve, offering major advances in valve performance for cost-effective solutions. The series offers high flow with low power consumption in a compact, clean aesthetic design. It is available in body ported or base mounted styles and can be used individually or manifold mounted. The SY5000/7000 has the same valve width as it predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing for reduced valve size. A built-in strainer in the pillot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation.
The 25A-SY series is designed using material compatible with secondary battery applications and are able to be used in low dew point environments. These variations eliminate copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) material where possible, making them compatible with secondary battery manufacturing for electronics, automotive, and other vehicle type.
