Description: Tap-off module WINSTA® IDC E coding For signal and power transmission: The WINSTA® IDC tap-off module E coding. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are useful when specifications repeat or are planned on a defined pattern, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). This means that users fingers will never come into contact with electrified elements. The KNX protocol allows different equipment within one building system to communicate. A WINSTA® IDC pluggable installation connector with E coding, like all coded pluggable installation connectors, allows blind mating. E coding is often used for an auxiliary power supply, for example in I/O devices. Building safety must be ensured at all times, even after the electrical installation stage.
